  • "Over the past few years I have seen the Dawn Barham Band more than a handful of times and the bands' music ages like fine wine. Dawn's voice takes to the microphone with the heart and soul of many blues musicians and with the passion of Janis Joplin. • Lisa Hinkley of The Daily Times Leader writes, "With a voice that has been compared to Janis Joplin, Melissa Etheridge and Bonnie Raitt, Barham's music offers listeners a sampling of various styles. She tunefully blends elements of rock, jazz and blues in her compositions."
  • Joe Dillon, The Commercial Dispatch, writes, "I have listened to every song on the cd and loved them all. Her music is a mixture of rock, blues, jazz, and acoustical accouterments. She has a wonderful spirit about music and it shows in her work."
